I am Afro-Latino. Let me say that again, I am AFRO LATINO. I am part of both worlds, I claim both worlds.
What is normal? The definition of normal is: “conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected”. Therefore, everyone’s normal is different. This is mines.

Harassment at work, threats of deportation, unfairness in education, lack of health care, discrimination, and barely any rights. Those are some of the things my people face in the United States, a country that we have helped build. And I am tired of it because although we get the shorter end of the stick, we are still portrayed as the bad guys.
It’s no secret that there is a lot of corruption in the world. But what’s being done about it? Who's to blame for it? There are so many issues that are thrown on the back burner because they are taboo topics. But it’s time to get comfortable with talking about these uncomfortable topics.
